Bio

Jaime Barco advises domestic and international clients in all legal aspects of their business activity, from the structuring of new investments to their representation in the most complex commercial transactions.

Jaime specializes in Corporate, Mining and Electricity Law, with special emphasis on renewable energies.

Jaime has been an investor, developer, general manager and legal counsel from several companies developing non conventional renewable energy projects and actively participated in the sale of Cerro Chocán Wind Energy Project

Jaime is actively engaged with the activities of the Peruvian National Environmental Fund, which promotes Clean Development Mechanisms and other energy projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions within the framework of the Kyoto Protocol.

At  ESTUDIO | GRANDA, Jaime leads the Energy practice group and is member of Mining and Corporate Advisory practice groups.
